#TakeASecond is an art based movement that looks at the less spoken about forms and levels of sexual assault and harassment.
Inspired by the #MeToo and #TimesUp campaigns, #TakeASecond looks at using art to speak about asking consent in all situations and how it only “takes a second” to ask someone for their consent.
The project is to look at all aspects of consent facing men and women. In the future, more photography should appear discussing further issues to help people recognise the issue of consent in this day and age.

MY DRESS DOES NOT MEAN YES
The above photos were from a shoot in Old Harlow in May 2018, highlighting the importance of men and women asking consent and how the way someone dresses does not make asking unnecessary.
